Vermont Overland Registration is now on Movemint!

A new year is just around the corner, and so is Vermont Overland registration day on 1/1/2025—time for some big news!

First up: We’re switching our registration platform to movemint.cc, and we couldn’t be more stoked. It’s the perfect opportunity to step away from the corporate vibes of Outside and offer you a cleaner, more streamlined, and hassle-free registration experience. Plus, lower rider/runner transaction fees than BikeReg? Yes, please.

Next: Big changes are coming to The Overland! This year, The Overland (run) is moving to the day before The Overland (bike) in August. That means the bike race is shifting back to Sunday, 8/24/2025. With our trail running event growing like crazy—and the OVERLAND TROPHY (our epic run/bike combined competition) gaining serious momentum—we’ve decided to host everything over the course of one unforgettable Vermont weekend. With our eyes always on quality and sustainability, we feel like this is the best way to go.

We’re also keeping participation limits the same for 2025. Why? Because bigger isn’t always better. If you’ve been to an Overland, you already know what we mean.

And a final heads-up on registration: It’s not a lottery—it’s old-school first come, first serve, and it sells out fast. Juniors race for free and we save space for women. Set those reminders and good luck grabbing your spot!
